Typhim Vi 25 mcg/0.5 mL Injection, Prefilled Syringe

Typhim Vi is a typhoid Vi polysaccharide vaccine indicated for active immunization against typhoid fever caused by Salmonella typhi in persons 2 years of age and older. Each 0.5 mL intramuscular dose contains 25 mcg of purified Vi polysaccharide. This package contains one 0.5 mL single-dose prefilled syringe supplied without a needle, package NDC 49281-790-51. Administer at least 2 weeks before expected exposure when possible. For persons who remain at continued or repeated risk, reimmunization every 2 years is recommended according to the full prescribing information and current travel-health guidance. Vaccination is not a substitute for careful food and water precautions. Store refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (35°F to 46°F). Do not freeze; discard vaccine that has been frozen. For professional use.
