CDC Characterizes 2016/17 Flu Season as "Moderate"
According to CDC researchers the 2016/17 season had "moderate" influenza activity with influenza A (H3N2) the most frequently reported strain. Influenza activity peaked in the middle of February 2017. Influenza B appeared to be the more common strain from March through May.
